Tommo's birthday and other shenanigans

Today is this man's birthday, from the picture you would not be able to tell he has reached the tender age of 22, you would be thinking more along the lines of 42. Anyhow happy birthday Tom! It is indeed unfortunate that both of us have a heinous amount of work to do on this day otherwise im sure we could be doing something rad, even on a Sunday. But on a side note Leah has taken you out for a birthday pint at the weatherspoons, see were not that cheap.

Sunday March the 1st has been a rather busy day in fact, it has marked my return to amateur league football, and in dramatic fashion as well in a double match against the same side. Nice to see that people still cannot sort out the congestion that occurs during a season. It was awesome fun to be back on the pitch, and im looking forward to training this Thursday along with next week's match, and also more free vegetarian nut roasts after the game.

Another important part of today was watching spurs lose in the cup final to Man U, and the pleasure viewing was made even better with it being drawn out to penalties, only for spurs to completely fail at football along with life. Even though i dislike Man United, as an Arsenal fan i will always bask in Spurs failures. Keeping on the football side of things, another good result today was Aston Villa 2 - 2 Stoke. Just when i thought it was looking impossible to clinch a champions league spot fate has dealt us in with another chance. Lets just hope that our strikers can find the back on the net against West Brom, and that Eduardo makes a swift return from his latest injury.

To finish off this rather fruitful Sunday i have started writing up my dissertation which is due in for the end of April. Considering i have no other deadlines left now, nor any other projects ive got two solid months to get this behemoth finished which is pretty realistic to be honest in my eyes and im looking forward to finishing it off and finally getting out of University. I no longer wish to be classed as a student, ive enjoyed my time do not get me wrong but its wearing thin now, and i want to join the rest of the vegative population in watching Jeremy Kyle, reading the daily mail and awaiting doll day.

Finally i almost forgot this monumental moment within the day. Leah found an advert within the Friday ad's within the pet section regarding dumbo/hairless rats. Knowing full well that one of my rats is currently quite ill at the moment and will be visiting the vet this week, possible bad outcome expected. I have managed contact a Brighton breeder in regards to purchasing a fine hairless dumbo girl, who would keep my other rat company if by chance the ill one had to be put down. I am currently on a list of people who will be able to come round when the babies are born and chose which hairless dumbo i want. This is by far the best part of the day in my eyes, and this hairless beuty shall be mine in around 2 months. A perfect reward for the end of my dissertation.

I think i shall dedicate a blog post in the upcoming week to the awesomeness of the hairless rat, im also going to post some things up about Chaos in Tejas, and a few other hardcore/punk fest's over the summer which im thinking of heading too, along with some thoughts on the up and coming Government Warning, Total Abuse, Sex Vid and Limp Wrist shows in the UK.
